Note: At the time of booking, all of this information will also be sent via email and include address information for mailing
Step One: Collect Supplies
Start by collecting everything you will need to successfully package your flowers; A medium to large sized box, a smaller “vase” box (tissue box, 6 pack, etc), paper towels, scissors, rubber bands, ziplock bag, sharpie, and craft paper or packing peanuts.
Step Two: Wrap Bouquet
Cut off 1" of the flower stems at a diagonal.
Dampen several paper towels with water.
Wrap the damp paper towels around the stems of the bouquet, making sure to get the bottoms of the stems completely covered.
Place the bottom of the bouquet covered in the paper towels into the zip lock bag. Add a bit more water if you would like and double bag with the ziplocks.
Use rubber bands to securely wrap/tighten the ziplock bags to be sure no water will leak out.
Step Three: Prep Box
Secure the smaller box to the inside of the large box, and cut slits in the top of the small box to serve as a makeshift vase (imagine like a tissue box, if you do not have a small box you can use craft paper in the bottom of the box to create a “nest” for the bouquet, softening the bottom of the box and leaving a space for the stems to go in.)
On the inside of the box flaps, write the client's name and date of event
On the outside of the box, use sharpies, stickers, or printed signs to indicate which way is “up” and that the box has fragile contents. You can buy stickers at the post office, but red sharpies or printed images work well too!
Step Four: Pack Box
Place the bouquet stems into the smaller box or nest you made using craft paper , making sure the space below the bouquet is relatively well packaged to avoid movement and bumping
Loosely cover the top of the bouquet with additional craft paper or packaging peanuts.
Note: DO NOT cover the flowers in ANY kind of plastic wrapping or bubble wrap! Plastic will suffocate your flowers. Paper and packing peanuts are breathable.
Step Five : Mail
You will receive an email at the time of booking with the address of where to mail your flowers. We generally suggest overnight shipping if it is not too expensive from your location, but 2-day air is also acceptable. Bouquets must arrive no later than 5 days after the event takes place. (Note: Peachy Petals is not responsiable for cost of shipping)
We highly suggest FedEx or UPS. Do not use USPS.
When you drop your box off at the post office of your choice, inquire about extra fragile/this way up stickers.
We will notoify you when we receive your bouquet, but make sure to keep your package tracking number and consider insruance to cover shipping if you are worried about delivery.

Overnight shipping is the safest option for keeping your flowers fresh, especially if you have an all-white bouquet or delicate blooms like tulips, poppies, anemones, or peonies. It's also a good choice if your flowers are already starting to wilt. Two-day shipping is a more budget-friendly option and works well if your flowers are still in good condition and don't have any time-sensitive concerns. Choose the shipping method that best suits the condition and type of your bouquet!

To ensure your flowers arrive in the best condition for preservation, please follow our packaging instructions closely. Keep your bouquet in water whenever it's not being held on your wedding day, and make sure to store it out of direct, harsh sunlight. This helps maintain the freshness and color of your blooms, making them perfect for pressing and preserving!

While flowers almost always arrive safely at our studio, occasionally they may experience some damage or get lost in transit. If this happens, you have a few options:
a) Purchase replacement stems for any delicate flowers that didn’t survive the journey,
b) Downsize your frame to fit the remaining flowers,
c) Receive a refund if your flowers are unsalvageable. We're here to help you navigate these options and ensure your preservation is as beautiful as possible!
